"This lovely small hotel was located on a safe, quiet street centrally located and an easy walk to everything. The wifi and a/c worked well (it was very hot when we visited Ortigia). The staff were not on property 100% of the time, but could be reached by phone and were very helpful. The rooms were large and clean (ours were on the ground floor off a little courtyard). There was a good coffeemaker and a little fridge in the room. Little cafes are all around for breakfast. There is a laundromat...

"I loved everything about this old convent converted to hotel : the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the view over the water was wow. It was clean, a short walk to the sites and the breakfast was good. The only thing was it felt remote at night when walking alone qith my 19 year old daughter but it's close to a police station so I felt better once I saw that! Definitely recommend. A little note, no elevator so pack light but staff helped us with bags."

"Fantastic boutique hotel, fabulous location with the kindest of staff. They could not have done more to be helpful and make us feel welcome. It’s an oasis of calm (and much needed drop in temperature!) the second you step inside the hotel doors, despite being in a very central location for restaurants, shops and bars. Highly recommend! Thank you for keeping breakfast aside for us after our long trip via Malta due to the closure of the airport!"

"We loved our stay at Marco. The room was super beautiful and big. Breakfast was delicious (we ordered omelets and they where great) We were truly impressed by the location of the B&B, literally in piazza duomo. The entire staff was lovely and made us feel at home. Loved meeting Martina, we got to here her story and how she made the beautiful b&b"

"Owner great as was all staff. Breakfast was disappointing as day old croissants donuts and other things were off track and need to be better. Coffee was great but the rest ….."
