"Room wasn't serviced - breakfast expensive - asked for poached eggs which came and tasted of vinegar - asked for fried eggs which came and yokes burst and hard"

"First time I’ve stayed at The Weston and hopefully it won’t be the last. A really charming hotel, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and the take time to chat which was really nice. My room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was top quality, tasty and very well presented. The bar prices were reasonable and there’s a cosy area to sit and chat with books and some games. Very convenient location for the spa and an easy walk into the town. Onstreet...

"Clean warm room."

"Amazing properties. Very cozy, beds are comfortable, very clean and great location. We will come definitely come back and will recommend to our friends and family"

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again."

"Absolutely perfect stay, from arrival, excellent breakfast, super comfy bed, good for parking, lovely staff, couldn't fault anything"

"Lovely staff as usual.Rooms are as described, clean, and handful amentities. The botomless breakfast is really good too"

"The hotel was very nice and the staff brilliant breakfasts was very nice. The hotel is located in walking distance to all facilities and to the beach front we really enjoyed our stay we would go back again."

"I know it was late season but reception and bar not manned. Heating on full blast, was too much. Good breakfast, worth the extra, nice to see dogs allowed, even though I did not take my own, Scarborough is a very dog friendly place."

"Very helpful staff as we had to check in late, easy to reach via phone as well, useful booklet in the room and more info leaflets in the communal space."

"We enjoyed a good overnight stay at East Ayton Lodge Hotel, which was comfortable and well-situated. We were happy with our room and with dinner and breakfast. The room was fine for our dog and the garden provided an opportunity for a short walk ..."

"The rooms are clean but I do feel it does need a bit of TLC or a quick makeover. The staff were helpful however did see much of them."

"A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

"Claire was a gracious and helpful host who really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay."
