Monarch Resort
We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The staff was very friendly, good parking, easy access. But, the breakfast was terrible. No meat at all, not even scrambled eggs. The only real protein was boiled eggs. No waffles, not even cereal.

Sunset Inn
The place was fine. The continental breakfast started at 8:00 that was a bit late, but there was coffee in the room. The room was nice and parking easy. The walk to see the sunset was short although the sun didn't really cooperate.

Bide-A-Wee Inn
Easy check in with plenty of parking next to each room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and the outdoor fireplace was perfect for 8-10 guests. Walkable to the ocean, Pacific Grove Golf Course, and to Lucy’s on Lighthouse!

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
A little confusing to find the pool, it was in a different building so you have to leave the main building and walk across a walkway to access to pool/ spa and gym. Not a big deal but unexpected.
