"Wonderful stay at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel. Fantastic view of the river, made even better by the early morning frost. We had a little confusion over the breakfast time but the lovely ladies working there made sure our stay wasn't blighted and accommodated us. Thank you very much. We wouldn't hesitate in returning. "My second time staying at Holiday Inn Express. My room 211 felt smaller than my first room 108. A comfortable bed so I got a good sleep. The small table to sit down at was a little dirty as was the top of the shower head. Not a major problem but if I do stay next time, I would prefer to stay on the first floor"

"Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. "

"The building is beautiful, filled with history. I booked a superior for the bath in the room. I was given a pleasant room in what I think is the original medieval part of the building but the bath was through a cool 'corridor' in the room. However, I spoke to the very assistive staff and they suggested a different room which I was absolutely delighted with! This room was unique, had 2 steps down to the bathroom, had a deep bath in the room, room was spacious but cosy and homely. The bed was very...
