"I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at this place; such nice people! The location was great too - quiet but within walking distance to everything you could need. The room was well prepared, though not the best; the shower leaked and I couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work. It was also small which is what I booked, but at the price point I might have hoped for something a bit nicer. But I will say it was made up for by the wonderful people working there; they were so nice and thoughtful. They left biscuits in my room to have with tea, and refilled them when I ate them! My room was on the top floor which was a hike, but that is the way these homes are. I do wish that there had been both shampoo and conditioner in the shower, though I notice hotels do tend to omit the latter. The location is on a quiet street, but right around the corner from Pulteney Bridge, and down the street from a lovely park. Overall I enjoyed my stay."

"Good stay in Central Bath Hotel. The hotel is well positioned to access Bath’s many attractions, although this means driving to it and getting parked on a Saturday can be interesting. The hotel itself is not much to look at from the outside, but inside it obviously has had a fairly recent refurb. The rooms whilst smallish were well appointed and clean, with a good bathroom and everything you’re likely to need. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good"

"Arrived hotel is in a fantastic position in Bath. Was on a weekend spa weekend with friends. Bit disappointed to find out the lift was not working and our room was on the third floor of very steep stair case. Was apologized to about the lift and said waiting for it to be fixed. Got up the stairs to room. Good sized room for three very spacious. Was a bit of a musty smell when we got in the room. Only for one night so we could deal with it. Could have done with being aired before we arrived would have made a major improvement. Staff very good and. Helpful given instructions of how to get back in if after 11 which was no problem. Amazing fresh cooked breakfast and lots of choice. Only thing that let it down was by the lift as two of the party had mobility issues so may have been helpful to let us know in advance to give us the option to change rooms. Overall lovely hotel in amazing location."
