"EXcellent,5 star hotel come pub and restaurant.Thoroughly clean throughout,excellent choice of real ales, excellent varied menu,ultra clean super king bedroom,overlooking the Dee marshes,and nice views over to Wales!Our favourite place to stay locally,just an hour travel from Merseyside area.a.Well be back soon!"

"Staff was attentive and pleasant. Problems were that they ran out of basic breakfast menu items. Additionally, the property is not air conditioned and no fans were available until we requested one. The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice."

"Lovely clean room very comfortable and cosy. Gorgeous bathroom with a large shower. Pub has loads of character and charm, staff very friendly and helpful.
Perfect place to stay to be in the centre of everything."
