"A great location in El Born if your goal is to explore the area, the neighbouring Gothic Quarter and nearby sites. This boutique hotel has a fun, and unique theme with Scottish, Cuban and punk rock motifs throughout. Friendly staff, rooms are clean and it also has a highly rated restaurant attached. Our room came with a small balcony overlooking the back streets. There was a hairdryer, towels, slippers, but the iron and ironing board are communal and you have to pick them up from reception."

"Peres, Adam, Alfredo and Kevin were so nice and welcoming as were the other staff members. The location were perfect and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms were spotless and quiet. The room darkening shades were perfect. We did not have the buffet, but I’m sure it was excellent. The water pressure was very good and the toiletries were quite nice. I liked the sliding door separating the bedroom from the washroom area. "

"Thomas (spelling?) checked is and gave a good overview of Barcelona and several restaurant recommendations… the ones we tried were great. Given the price, it was disappointing that there was no “free” water or coffee.the gym was a little basic but you can see that from the picture. The sauna was fine and you can book it+gum, as you are on view to the gym. Kitchen facilities were very useful, and good size fridge either small freezer department. Bedside tables were a little small. Very good...

"Lovely hotel in great location! Room was large and bed comfy. Quiet area. We had one issue in that the bathroom door would not close and despite up reminding them each morning it never got fixed. Breakfast buffet was fabulous - lots of choice and delicious. There’s a mini frig safe and coffee maker in the room but even the coffee pods are about $2 each. Bus to Park Guell across the street. Lots of restaurants nearby. "

"What a perfect blend of old historical beauty and modern convenience. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the location can't be beat. Located on the outskirts of the old Gothic quarter it is also just a short block from the main city square where you can catch the subway, a taxi or any of the Hop On Hop Off buses. I loved my terrace overlooking the pool and courtyard. Only thing that I would've preferred was an English language TV channel other than the news.,"
