"The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

"Die Empfangsdame bei unserer Ankunft am Montag, 15.12. war sehr freundlich und hat proaktive Tipps gegeben. Ebenfalls die Reinigungskraft am 16.12. auf Etage 9 hat uns sehr freundlich behandelt. DANKE. Der Balkon bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht, desgleichen die Rooftop Bar auf dem Dach des Hotels. Es war unser 3. Aufenthalt im La Barracuda, und sicherlich nicht der letzte. "

"Hotel is huge and amazing location with stunning views. We stayed here near Christmas and still the staff was so kind to upgrade us as it was my hudband’s birthday. Evenjng shows and bingo was fun, bar was great as well. Only couple of things which we did not like; cleanliness within the rooms was not that top notch as 4 star hotel standards. Also, the cafe/bar did not have any food being served which was a bit of a let down. It rained few days and we would have loved to be able to get some...

"Firstly, every member of staff were so welcoming and did everything possible to ensure we had a good holiday. Room was spotless and well equipped for self-catering. Position one street back from beach. Only downside was that towels only changed every 3 days and sheets weekly although I believe you can pay for extra service."
