"Stayed overnight for concert at Jones Beach. Very convenient, clean and reasonably priced"

"I normally stay at known Brand hotels, this was my first time at Allegria and it was great! I’ll definitely will be coming back. The room was clean and modern, the location next to the beach is perfect, went with kids and they loved it. Free parking in front of the property, beach chairs and towels are included, nice pool on the rooftop with great views! The bar and restaurant look great. The personnel was attentive."

"Tv only had local news and VERY OLD NYPD BLUE, Law & Order and Family Feuds. Many streaming channels, but only if you wanted to buy new subscriptions… No way to sign in with existing info. AC either very cold or not cold at all… Remote didn’t work even after they gave me another one. No grab bar in shower. Very old bathroom no ledges or place to put anything by toiletries. But the most uncomfortable thing was that there wasn’t a single chair in the room. You could be in bed or not …nothing else....

"It’s an older building but well maintained. The check in was fast and easy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom clean. Breakfast was good. Shuttle service was great to and from JFK airport."

"It was sad to get there and be told the pool was closed for the summer. The property was well maintained but it sits on a main road that is very loud. Breakfast was good and there are a TON of good restaurants surrounding the hotel."

"Hotel was really, really bad. They even had a sign at check in with “hourly rates” from 1 hour on up. Lots of smells. Right next to subway. Neighborhood remains quite active at all hours - even an ice cream truck was driving by around 1:30 am. One towel had debris and numerous mystery brown stains. Burn holes in comforter AND sheets. Hair in the bed, on the floor, in the bathroom (small balls of hair that should’ve been collected in basic cleaning). The security Flip lock on door missing...

"The experience was through and through horrible. When I checked in the guy said that this is a non-smoking room, which was weird because it should be given. And when I then came into the room, it actually smelled a lot like cold thick cigarette smoke, that sat in the polstery."

"Perfect for overnight stop near JFK - only a 10-15 min transit via free shuttle service. Room was clean and functional and bed very comfy. Room had slight smell but nothing unpleasant. Staff were polite. Shower head wasn’t the best at distributing water and the sink took forever to drain the water. You need to board the Airtrain and get to Federal Circle station (one stop from T8) for shuttle pick up. Not a big problem but had to call hotel to get this instruction and they didn’t immediately...

"This is a beautiful hotel that has residents who live there and is also offers hotel accommodation. The two restaurants next to the building are excellent, The Shed and the an Italian restaurant. The parking is close to the building and free of charge. The check in is easy and the elevators are conveniently located. The room was spacious with a private bathroom and kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and it was very nice to have a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and sink. The shower has a nice water...

"Construction is going on inside of the hotel and started at 8 am waking us up from our sleep in a fright. When we called the front desk they said the construction shouldn’t be happening by our room but even they could hear the noise through the phone. We couldn’t go back to bed and ended up just packing up and exiting early."
