"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam. "

"View was stunning, catch of the day was amazing, manager was top notch and did everything she could to resolve any issues. Room was lovely, unfortunately balcony was in need of TLC, however it is due to be renovated we understand. Room was very hot and as it is set back there is little breeze, would definitely recommend having fans available with all this hot weather."

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...

"the day before i emailed and asked to confirm if the electric car charger was working, told response would be 24 hours, no reply. got to the hotel and looked very dated, then i was told one out of the two rooms was not ready as the was busy with a wedding the day before, so went to one room and paint falling off the ceiling, very dated and floor boards squeaked and rocked. went back to the receptions and asked if i could cancel our rooms and get a full refund, i was told the manager would not...

"We booked a balcony room overlooking the harbour with our dog. The staff on reception were wonderful. In our room there was a doggy welcome gift, treats toy poop bags. The room was large and comfortable. Robes slippers and a fan. We should have prebooked a table in the pub as it was busy, and dogs not allowed in the gorgeous restaurant, so thankfully we sat outside. Food and views were great. Close enough to stroll into town. "Gorgeous location overlooking the sea and across road from sea. Peole snorkeling About 15 mins walk from the centre. Lovely quaint rooms and nice tea and coffee. Very safe area. But note if you are back after ten you have to take you key with heavy tag on or wait for ages for someone to let you in"

"Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Das Hotel hätte sehr viel Potential. Ist wunderschön gelegen und hat charme. Leider ist es wirklich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt dadurch teilweise etwas ungepflegt. Am Morgen um 8 Uhr stand unangekündigt jemand vor unserem Fenster und hat die Fenster geputzt. Ein doch eher unangenehmes erwachen. Ansonsten ist das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit."
