When booking the spa the online booking system didn’t work, I tried to book over the phone and was passed from staff member to staff member and put on hold multiple times. "A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

"We had a ground floor room with patio which was perfect for our dog. First day our room had not been serviced, but next 2 days it was all fine. We ate in the restaurant onthe first afternoon which was very good. Service was excellent as well. Very good breakfast. Nice & close to Stratford on Avon."

"A great hotel, we came for an event and the hotel was very convenient and good. We did not eat at the hotel so I am unable to comment on this. However, we did have a drink in the bar and we did have to replace the glasses about 3 times as they were all dirty. The staff seemed to lack training in customer service skills. The same 2 drinks, cost a different amount each time."

Waitress not very welcoming then said sorry no cooked breakfast. Issue in kitchen so only continental available. It’s not our fault and nothing we can do. There were no croissants or fresh bread to cut, just slices. One of the toasters had a notice saying only use left side and only two strawberry yoghurts were left. I had to ask for tea on three...
