"The hotel was a very nice place to stay. Within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. Breakfast was good for continental, lots of variety. Although we did not have kids, there were lots for kids to do. Staff was friendly but Natalie at the front desk was always helpful with our inquiries. Would definitely return to this place."

"The staff doesn't seem very happy to be there.... My room only got cleaned once during the 3-night stay. The refrigerator in the room made such a horrible, nonstop noise that we had to leave it unplugged. Don't expect to bring leftovers back and keep them cold overnight."

"This hotel is very well situated for the Capital and downtown -- it's not a local neighborhood, if that's what you're looking for. The room and bathroom were spacious and soundproofed. The gentleman at check-in and check-out was very polite and helpful. The rooms could use some updating electronically -- more charge points for phones, airpods, etc. would be useful. Would not recommend for a business traveler until they update that aspect, but for a vacation traveler, it was find."

"This property has a lot of potential but it needs a lot of work. Some renovations are needed, BUT simply keeping the common areas clean would help. My first room smelled terrible. I switched rooms and there was no smell, but it was pretty dirty. Second day, my room key stopped working. No apology from the staff. I watched a maintenance guy walk through the hallway and get on the elevator with a dripping plunger after he plunged a toilet. Bagging the plunger is a simple and sanitary step. The location is the best thing about this hotel."

"Dirty walls, lousy patch and paint jobs all over the walls. Holes where light fixtures once were. Cockroaches spotted in the room and worst one was finding a dead in in the microwave. No shower liner that stops the water from coming out of the tub. Broken locks on window. Breakfast was a joke, only bagels, white bread, and muffins, 3 options of cereal that prob have roaches since they are not individual serving boxes, no waffles, no eggs or protein of any kind only jams and cream cheese. We had to cancel our second night and find a better hotel nearby. What a joke of a place management is clearly cutting so many corners. Room 401 was my experience and am certain the rest of the rooms are the same since they didn’t even offer to switch my room. Never again, id rate lower if I could."
