What a fantastic find! Super close to everything- the beach, restaurants, nightlife. Lovely to be able to walk everywhere. Very safe and clean. The mountain view in the morning with the hammock on the deck was perfect. I will stay here again. Special shout out to Alfonso and Marlene for their kindness:-)

Hotel is a little bit older but clean and in a good location. It is only a short walk to Los Muertos beach. The pool deck is small but I liked it because there were only ever a few people there and there is a bartender. The view is really beautiful at sunset. It would be perfect for a group. Everyone was nice and accommodating

Super friendly service and the location is excellent. Steps away from the funicular trolley that takes you right to street level near the beach. It runs until 10p every night. Rooms are comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a more convenient stay. Only a $14 uber to the airport.

It was great place! A short walk to the beach, you just have to take some stairs. The service was solid and the rooms were safe and comfortable. I’d definitely return!

Hotel Amaca is a find! I've been going to Puerto Vallarta for 42 years and this is a great place to stay. Centrally located with a wonderful staff and beautiful views from on top of the hill I'll definitely book again. I have a new favorite place to stay in PV! Thanks to the desk staff Alfonso and rooftop bartender Memo and the wonderful senoras who are the maids at Amaca
