It is a nice and affordable place, there's a few details that might bother some people I believe some other things compensate those little flaws. One of them might be if you're someone who's looking to wake up late everyday, try to request a room away from the street. A Church is right aside and they call to mass very early in the morning. Other than that the personel is very friendly and responsive to any request, the beds are comfy and the location is very convenient.

Basic hotel for people that are not fussy.

I don't require fancy things. This hotel is basic, but the location was very good. It's close to Ley supermarket, the Malecon, restaurants, etc. It's beside a church. Bring earplugs for the church bells, otherwise you might not be able to sleep. I would stay there again.

I'm not too fussy about hotels but this stay inspired me to write a review. To be fair the bed was comfortable, the area safe and the woman at the desk was lovely but the condition of the room was unacceptable. The sliding door to the little balcony was broken and required the two of us yarding on it aggressively to get it to move. As it was, there really wasn't much point in opening it as the hose from the AC unit was dripping steadily onto the balcony. The one electrical outlet in the room was loose in the wall with no cover plate. There was a frayed bath mat covering the shower drain, I lifted it to reveal clouds of tiny ants scurrying around the drain and clinging to the towel. It turned out that there was no need to uncover the drain as there was no hot water to shower, although we did recover the drain once we realized an unpleasant odour was emanating from it and drifting through the bathroom. Returning to the room later in the evening, we though to console ourselves and perhaps find a bright side to our stay and make our way up to the rooftop deck. Glimpses of greenery waving in a soft breeze and a thatched roof had hope stirring in my breast but alas, the stairway was securely gated, reserving the deck for an unoccupied penthouse suite. We are feeling very grateful that we were only here for a night.
