"We were in town to attend my niece's wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral. We could have stayed at a hotel closer to the venue, but this location allowed us to explore Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park, the New York Public Library and everything in between. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff was great. Minor niggle, I wish the lobby bar was open just a tad later. They were about to close when we arrived after the wedding, but the staff accommodated us for a nightcap, An unexpected and much...

"The lobby is much nicer than the hotel rooms. I think the rooms could use a solid update. Bathrooms are quite small and the water pressure was a little more than a trickle. However, the bed was quite comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I just wish the space was better distributed inside the rooms. Lots of free space, but bathroom space is tiny all around."

"Location is central to a lot of tourist attractions. Seconds to Times Square, close to Central Park, tons of nearby shopping and restaurants. Staff at check in were very friendly. The lobby has a very pleasant smell and the chaos from outside is left at the door. The lobby and rooms are quiet and very clean. The rooftop bar is a nice perk and offers awesome views especially at night. Rooms are spacious. We would definitely come again."

"The Renwick’s location was incredibly convenient for exploring New York City. Finding a room with two queen beds in NYC can be surprisingly difficult, so we were happy to find one where our family could stay comfortably with our kids. The staff were all friendly and quick to respond whenever any minor issues came up.
There were a couple of drawbacks, though. Despite the renovations, the building’s age still showed in some ways, including an occasional sewer smell coming from the bathroom...

"Great classic NYC hotel. Centrally located and has a great cafe downstairs (you get a 15% discount voucher for the cafe when you check in). We are NY’ers who moved to Long Island and needed a room for one night as we were attending an event. We had a great time-the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend, especially at the nightly rate!"

"The hotel is an iconic building but its in terrible shape. its not updated, furniture feels and looks from 30 years ago. Carpets looks from a motel 6 and it smells like terrible.
Hostess at check in was super nice. but i asked for a late check out until 1:00pm and immediately they wanted to push it until 2:00pm but for a $50 dollars fee. I told them, I only needed until 1:00 and their response was "$25" fee. so i opted for 12:00pm. they checked my room 3 times before I left at 11:50. It was...
