"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn. The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

"A reasonable hotel with a good restaurant. Very good food available in the dining room, staff helpful and pleasant. A lack of heating and hot water marred our stay (in November) but otherwise good"

"Room was clean with a modern bathroom and comfortable. We didn't spend time in the hotel bar or restaurant but did have a drink outside where there were some tables for diners. Service was fine, but when we got up to leave the next morning the reception and bar area were all locked up (8:30am). In the end I had to call the hotel to find out how to check out and was told to just leave the key in the room and go. I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...

"A beautiful thatched pub in the Suffolk countryside with original features and delicious breakfast"

"Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean."

"Bit creepy at night. No towels in the room and dirty tea cups hadn't been washed. Light bulb didn't work next to my bed. Shower was fine"

"Very clean appartment in pristine condition. Excellent kitchen facilities. Good shower with excellent water flow. Dressing room for luggage and changing. Beverley the host very helpful and accomodating. Excellent stay, wound recomend."

"Lovely hotel and very helpful friendly staff. I booked a classic room which was spacious and nicely presented. Appreciated the addition of room service after a long journey and a well presented breakfast the next morning. Exceeded my expectations actually"

"Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!"
