"I'm sorry to say I can't recommend the Alderley Edge Hotel. I stayed here for a business trip to the local business park, booked for two nights. The first night was fine — I slept well. My room (55, second floor) ran warm, but opening the window solved it. In the morning I noticed the shower pole had come away from the wall and was just hanging there. I flagged it at reception. "Friendly check in. Good nightly rate and clean comfortable super king bed. Quiet and managed some sleep after requesting a room a long way from the entrance. Overall a short walk to the terminals - only manchester airport could charge £3.50 for a shuttle bus to the terminals. Welcome to a second tier airport. "

"Arrived late at night and had trouble finding a car park space. Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. I called the hotel 3 times whilst stuck at the gate and no one answered. Luckily a guest walked past and gave me the code. Went around again but this time went in the multistorey up a level. Be warned this car park is VERY TIGHT and not all cars are parked well. When...
