"No AC? Tortuous stay"

"This place is so convenient to the airport. But honestly, the staff is so kind and nice. I had had a really long day of travel and was honestly not expecting to stay in Dublin. The staff was so welcoming and kind."

"I liked the location which was near the river which was a lovely walk and it led to the downtown area. It was also in an area which was close to a convenience store. As sure as we are that we have brought everything we need, there is always something forgotten. It's nice if you don't have to go all over to find something to replace what you left. I asked directions and was pleased they offered me a map which they wrote on so I would know my location and where I wanted to go. It was all good...

"It's a room for a night to facilitate airport travel, and nothing more. My room was dirty. The shower needs a new curtain that doesn't allow water to just seep through. I booked a shuttle to the airport, and it never came, so I quickly booked the next one. This made me late getting to the airport, and I had to sprint to make my flight, which I just barely made."

"The proximity to the beach was amazing! Check in was easy. The room was okay-poor. The bathroom was clean and great! Sheets and bed were great! Carpet had stains close to the patio doors. Also, lots of mold on the drapes and carpet and wall around the patio doors. Our room faced west and was ground floor. It was quite hot in the room so we had to open the patios doors but there was no screen or window to keep open through the night. Also, the hotel information books has conflicting...

"We had a fabulous stay at The Grand. The hotel was clean and well maintained despite its size. Our double room was on the small side but comfortable, with a beautiful view of the water and contained everything we needed for our stay. "Hotel in an excellent area of Dublin it was clean and the breakfast was great. I was in a pod room on the lower grown floor. Upon opening the bedroom door I was met with a burst of hot air. I detected the air conditioner wasn't working. A fan had been placed in the room which only circulated hot air. Conditions were extremely hot which made it difficult to stay in the room for any period of time. It was extremely uncomfortable at night to sleep."
