"We had no view of the beach, our stay was mostly pleasant but the noise at night was distracting. Loud doors slamming and dogs barking due to the loud sudden noises of how heavy the doors close."

Staff very friendly and helpful, only minor issue is that property is not wheelchair accessible, althought they are ramps getting into main entrance involves getting up quite a big step, otherwise very nice hotel "

"Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy."

"Really nice staff - friendly and helpful. Location is good - right across from the beach so you can hear the sound of the sea from the bedroom. Room itself is tired and could do with an update. No locker on one side of the bed. The use a macerator in the bathrooms so it makes a loud noice when you flush the loo or empty a basis. We had no hot water when we were there. We were not told this but found out when we heard a staff member telling another guest. Breakfast is OK if you like the Full English or a variation of it but no fruit, cereal or yoghurt. Parking is on the street and requires payment"
