"Even though we were only at the house for one night, it was a very lovely stay. Nikko is gorgeous and the house allowed us to feel truly immersed in the culture. It’s relatively close to historical sites and Yoshiko was so kind to us. We had some delays and were rushed to reach the temple, but she drove us to ensure we had as much time as we could get. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful ryokan just steps away from some of the most iconic Nikko destinations. We stayed there for 2 days and were able to walk to everything. The ryokan is spotless, restful, and the dinners and breakfasts were marvelous."

"Convenient location for walking to the shrines, etc. The Annex is located a bit further than the first Turtle Inn, but is still a lovely establishment. Kind staff. "
