"Superb. Seamless check-in and out. Spotless room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, nightlite in bathroom. We didn't have breakfast, but ate dinner in the River Grille, and the food was delicious. The service was exemplary also. Only very minor gripe was that they had XO cognac at the bar, and no proper brandy glasses. Barman actually asked if he should put the cognac in my coffee!"

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. I slept well and it was well situated to explore everything and be straight out in the buzz of millennium square and the waterways in the morning. "The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff. On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences."
