"There were 3 of us in the room. It was tight, but we managed. The room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was wonderful! The staff was good for the most part. Especially the maids and the guy who needed to unlock my safe!"

"We used to stay at the Knickerbocker in midtown A year ago we stayed in an air b and B on the upper west side. While in the neighborhood we passed by the Bellaclaire—a beautiful building. We now stay there every time we are in New York—-4 times a year The neighborhood is great Two grocery stores in walking distance ., 2 movie theaters, a Barnes and Noble a many great restaurants. "Nothing super special about the hotel, but we had a nice stay. We were seeing a show at the Beacon Theater and the location of the hotel was super convenient. I would stay here again."

"Small space with huge advantages! Staff was helpful and awesome with answering questions and offering free tours daily. Location was the best ! Breakfast was great . Lounge very nice and cozy. The bar is very nice. Great vibe in the lobby area the decor and music were great. View from my window was awesome ! Short walk to everywhere and subway literally next door! I highly recommend. Very affordable as well."

"Nice location & pretty hotel, but our AC never really worked well even though we had it at 65 degrees, no one ever came to clean our room or give us fresh towels (we were there a short weekend but gone most of the day and wanted just one day with fresh bedding etc), no fridge in the room (just a “cooler” that didn’t stay cool). Definitely wouldn’t come back here but had a nice trip and enjoyed the location - go to cafe aroma for the best coffee and breakfast/lunch quick fixes!!!"
