"What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester."

"we wanted somewhere for an overnight stay after flying back from Greece to Manchester before driving back to the north east. The bathroom shower felt like a licking tap as it was so slow and lacked pressure like you would normally have in other hotels. "Room was clean, no visible parking and noone to ask when returning with the car at 11.30pm. Took 20minutes to check in because the boss wasnt around and he wanted cash until I refused to go to a cash machine. Felt sorry for the lady as it wasnr her fault, just lazy boss. "

"We arrived at this venue last weekend, and within a minute of being shown to our room we decided there is no way we could possibly stay there. The entire place is absolutely filthy, really appalling. I complained about this but the owner responded and i quote “not my problem pal, get what you pay for”. Stay well clear"

Only my personal preference would be cotton bedding and heavier duvet and better quality pillows for the winter also the overhead kitchen cupboards are in need of an update as quite difficult to shut . "Great size, lots of room to sleep six as advertised however the only bathroom and toilet is ensuite, so everyone else has to go through that couples bedroom to use facilities, not perfect. Could use some decorating but was very clean. "
