"I had a very frustrating experience with Best Western. During the reservation process, there was no clear check-in time provided, which made planning difficult. Because of that, we arrived earlier in the day not fully aware of when check-in would begin. Later, we found out that check-in was at 4:00 PM. However, when we returned at 4:00 PM—the official check-in time—we were told that our room was still not ready, even though we had booked a specific room in advance. Instead of properly...

"Room was clean and quiet. There were people in each room beside me and I never heard them. Breakfast was good, just super busy. It was 20 minutes away from downtown, zoo/Balboa Park, and close to Miramar Base. For the price, I have no complaints. "

"Property condition is fair. Very discomforting and noisy coil beds which none of us liked. "

"The hotel appears to be an ex motel, with some modernisation on the outskirts of the city. We found the room very spacious, car parking available, & a generous breakfast offered. The staff were very good & friendly/helpful. Easy quick check in & good location for downtown, waterfront, Little Italy, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter & Padres Baseball Stadium. We did not need the aircon, but there was a heater as part of it!"
