"We enjoyed the free breakfast, beautiful hotel surrounding, and free bicycles to ride around the property. The design of the two unconnected rooms to accommodate 6 people was inconvenient and a lot of flaw. We had to walk outside to get in between the two rooms. "This was one of the best hotels / resorts we’ve ever stayed in. My family of 4 (13 yr old and 10 yr old) had a private villa to ourselves nestled right in the jungle. The villa had two floors, with the master suite and king size bed on the top level. The kids loved that the first floor even had a loft with its own mattress. The kitchen was well equipped too. "Staff was passive aggressive via whatsapp when we made a mistake on listing the number of occupants. This wasn't a big deal as there was just a minor price discrepancy we rectified immediatly. The biggest problem was the nest of rats moving and squeeking all night between the bedroom and bathroom wall. Yuck. Google maps shows a pool on site but note, there is no pool. My kids really liked watching geckos eating moths on the porch, beautiful views and assume it is generally a nice quiet stay...

"Overall, we loved this resort. First night in bad room located right next to construction/maintenance area and was very noisy. Do not stay in room 37! Hotel Mgr was very accommodating and upgraded us to a nicer and quieter room. Grounds are beautiful, and great view of Arenal volcano. Thermal springs (at least the top 2 pools) were lovely. Nice outdoor pool patio casual restaurant. Big breakfast buffet, all food was very good. I’d definitely recommend a stay here! And don’t miss Mistico Park...

"Breakfast goes from 6:40am-10:00am. great selection of food from rice, beans, chilaquiles, meats, plantains, fruit, cereals, there's even an omlette station and waffle station. Tea selections include black, green and herbal. Hot coffee and hot milk available as well. Juices usually were orange and some type of red (our guess was papaya). Filling because it is all you can eat. "
