"The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. There was no TV in our room, I suggest making certain you have games or other entertainment. "Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....

"There is absolutely nothing to do on the premises. There is nothing but a garden and two eating facilities. The WiFi was good. The breakfast was the same every day."

"Ingen info om noget da vi ankom. Virkede som om vi var til besvær. Vidste ikke rigtig hvem der var ansat, og hvem der var gæster. Køkkenet vi kunne tilberede vores mad i var beskidt. Madvarer hunde/katte foder og madskåle til dyr stod midt på gulvet i køkkenet Værelse var fint. Blev først gjort rent på 3. dagen da vi bad om det. "

"The room was fairly basic and could have used air conditioning, but it was quiet, clean, well located and the staff were just incredibly helpful and friendly. Such nice people. Really enjoyed meeting them and appreciated all their guidance in what to see, where to eat, etc. They made it a memorable stay. Very glad I chose to stay there."
