Beautiful place to hike. Unfortunately, the day we were there (Memorial Day, May 29), firefighters were rushing to put out a fire started by kids playing with a can bomb. Kids, don't play with fire, especuallt not in in the dry desert! #hiking #outdoors #desert #free #takeahike

#jenkslake was such a beautiful place to spend the evening! There was hardly anyone there at the time and sunset created the most colorful reflections on the water. It’s not too far up hwy 38 and it’s incredibly easy to get to.
