"I was travelling with family for my son’s graduation. We booked 2 twin rooms and arrived late, very tired and ready to sleep, only to find we’d been allocated doubles. We were moved, but this took some time. The breakfast was poor. They can probably tell by how much food is left untouched on plates. After breakfast we booked an Uber and waited. "Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again."

"We have stayed at this accommodation several times now, as it is nearby to one of our daughters, when we visit! We thoroughly enjoy all aspects of The Lodge, apart from the shower! In my opinion, for elder people such as my wife and I, there are no supports to hold on to, and I am concerned that we might slip etc. Despite mentioning this, nothing seems to have changed! Perhaps this issue could be “flagged!” Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend The Lodge!"
