"This is once of the worst hotels ive stayed at in a long time. The hotel staff are incredibly rude. When asking help from them was incredibly inconsiderate. Just rude. The escalator in the lobby was out of order my entire stay there (1 week). The water pressure in the shower is laughable. Its was impossible to remove shampoo from your scalp. I do not recommend this place under any circumstance."

"Our first time staying at the Belleclaire was very pleasant. The rooms had sound insulation, and you couldn't hear the street noise. Room size was larger than most NY hotels and the staff was really quite amazing and accommodating. The coffee cafe downstairs was fantastic -- really good quality coffee and the breakfast pastries and lunch items were very high quality."

"Good location, takes a day or two to get used to. Feels very cold in appearance almost like ur in a prison setting. Under beds super dirty so kicked up my allergies. Did have a blow dryer there although a review I had seen said they had no blow dryers. Housekeeping kept up with daily pick up and towel replacement. It’s perfect for young travelers on a budget, not older seasoned travelers."

"I stayed at the Riu Hotel in New York during FIFA, and it was a frustrating experience. The hotel was completely overcrowded and bursting at the seams.Because of the massive crowds, the service was very poor. The elevators were always packed, and the staff seemed too overwhelmed to help."

"This is the best hotel I have stayed at in NYC. The parking garage they suggested I park at is attached to the hotel so didn’t have to walk in the street with luggage. The hotel is extremely clean and room was great. The breakfast was amazing and I haven’t had a free buffet like that in a NYC hotel before! Plus you get 2 free drinks at an evening lounge. This is my new NYC hotel from now on!!"
