Excellent staff especially their restaurant manager who was kind and hard working! Their bell hop person and front desk people were amazing as well. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to nyc.

I liked this hotel a lot. Service was first rate. The rooms and common areas were all tastefully done. Some may find that it tilts more towards Japanese than American (example: tea kettle instead of coffee pot) but this appeals to me.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Place is spotlessly clean. Staff are super helpful and polite. Rooms have nice touches like dressing gowns and slippers and umbrellas and tea things. We didn't use the cafe for breakfast so can't comment on it. The backdrop from the roof top bar is amazing but they didn't have blankets that would have been handy this time of year. Our room faced inwards so was super quiet.. no street noise. So handy to Central Station too

LOVE the free breakfast buffet for 2 each morning, which included traditional Japanese breakfast! Convenient location. GREAT service by door staff, bell service, breakfast staff. My friend's comment was the food was very salty. So suggestion: less salt on the salmon. Low salt miso soup option? room should have recycling vs. trash option for treash. LARGE rooms for NY. LOVE the bathtub.
