"Just a very good Hotel in a great location"

"Great location. Close to most of the iconic landmarks in London . Steps away from Leicester Square Station which makes traveling to and from airport or to other cities very easy "

"Bottom line: this is a very old hotel in great need of refreshing. If you stay here and expect that, you'll do OK. The location at Holborn is A+; close to buses, underground, theatres, restaurants, shopping, and more. However (1) the room's carpets were filthy, (2) the toilet only randomly flushed, and the (3( thermostat took forever to work (heat or cold). The bathroom was another A+: great shower and hot water. The staff did their very best, but the age of the hotel eventually 'won out'."

"Great location for sure and the modern minimalist lobby is very nice. Rooms are simple but nice and bed was comfy. However cleanliness wasn't up to par. We found receipts on the floor from the previous guests and there were cigaret butts on the tiny terrace and the sink could have used a little wash down as well. Which means either they didn't clean it between guests or did a rush job. Which is also disappointing given that we had to pay 40 pounds to check in early because we arrived at noon and check I. Wasn't until 3. We would've just left our bags and gone exploring but it was 15 pounds per item so with 3 suitcases it was cheaper to pay to check in early. It's like they rush to get the rooms ready in order to do the upcharge for early check in thing. Probably also why check out is 10am (or you can pay to get a later check out). Not cool Zedwell ...not cool."

"It was fine. The room was comfortable enough. Was incredibly slow check-in, and room service didn't arrive prior to 5 pm so we skipped I, which is fine just not expected. The good thing was the cafe next door, good coffee and food and nice staff. "
