There was plenty of parking; the service was excellent; the room was beautifully decorated and clean with a very comfortable bed; the bar area had a good atmosphere with an open log fireplace; and there was a good range of options for breakfast. They sent me videos of both, and the room looked clean and fresh and the breakfast was Full English and eggs Benedict with cups of tea in cute teacups. You drive through a park to get to this hotel. If you are driving at night or low visibility, beware of the speed humps! The markings have worn away and they are brutal! Drive extra...

"For the last seven years or so I have regularly stayed at the Belmont when in Leicester on business. The staff are always really helpful and accommodating, and I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring a number of the different rooms in the hotel in that time. I'm retiring soon, so probably my last visit there before Christmas - I would thoroughly recommend it."

"Paul met us on arrival. Explained everything clearly. Very helpful and friendly. Dirty around property meaning on the main path outside property burst and rotten and smelly rubbish all along path guessing the council bin men have had strike action and council not quick enough to clean area up thoroughly."

"Great communication from host on how to check in. Very clean and modern room, complimentary coffee/tea/sugar as well as some bikkies. Felt very secure as there are 2 doors that need a code just to get into the building. Bed and pillows were comfy and a great bathroom with lots of space. Only downside is that it's not very sound proof, you can hear whenever someone enters the hall or outside, but other than that, highly recommended!"
