"We got an upgrade ? But didn’t tell us it was straight above the building site below that started jackhammering at 7.30 am so we had an early alarm!!!! And the door stop in the bathroom we both stubbed our toes on it rather a silly place to put it"

"Everything was great, except the shower! Was absolutely boiling. Didn’t get a chance to inform the staff but otherwise the hotel is great, I would stay again."

"Even though the hotel was clean and well maintained, I found the entrance difficult to find and also a lack of parking which required parking my vehicle at a parking garage in the city about three blocks away. At night returning from there back to the hotel, I felt uneasy as there were some shady individuals in that area."

"Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again."

"We had more than a few frustrations here. The biggest was that the room felt as small as an airstream trailer. The room was poorly appointed with two beds each smaller than a twin. The hotel staff was less than helpful and mostly said “no” to any request. The location seemed convenient so we booked there but would recommend somewhere else to anyone asking."

"We always stay in this hotel when visiting the area. We have tried others, but always regret not coming to this one. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained, the staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and there is parking on site. It is always a pleasure to stay here."

"Slightly tired room, could do with a spruce up, didn't think it was worth the cost (though it was the weekend of the snooker so there was presumably a surcharge) but it was perfectly fine and in a great location."

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. A number is given to contact and says it's staffed until 8pm. We arrived about 8:30 but messaged basically...

"The bedroom was clean, cool and comfortable, with a very good Freeview television unlike other hotels in Sheffield! The bathroom was very clean with a powerful shower, although the flush on the loo needed a lot of strength. The pool was clean and staff very helpful, with generous towel width. Noise was a factor as even early on Sunday morning there seemed to be a live band nearby. Breakfast was less than ideal with no gluten free options, table spoons given to eat cereal with and only fried...
