"Late check in never read messages prepaid room given away. Almost did not have room despite sending several messages that my plane was late. Check in agent not pleasant."

"Hotel 1080 is in a great location. The distance to the Myrtle St subway station makes for easy travel downtown. The close proximity to quality restaurants is also very convenient. The hotel provides basic comfort and amenities. The staff were very friendly. We arrived earlier than 3 and there was zero accommodation to see if a room was ready - we were simply told "check in at 3" - so beware if you have an earlier flight - it was easy tho to find a vibrant spot to hang out until our room was ready. They did let us leave our larger bags there until check in. The rooms are basic beds and bathroom. No fridge and microwave in room - which we did not need for this trip. Ice machine is in the basement - which is inconvenient - so we purchased cold water from nearby delis/bodegas. The showers feature an odd two way mirror as one wall of the shower - if you're traveling with a partner, have fun with that! If you're traveling with family - it's awkward as heck. :/ The rooms have great temperature control - we like ours cold and they stayed cold - we really appreciated that. Would we come back? If walking into the lobby every night wasn't a blast of weed in our faces - we would. However we are just highly sensitive to the smell (no judgement here - causes us to have migraines), just the biggest turn unfortunately for us. Overall: Value is good, location and staff are great, rooms are basic."

"I only stayed one night and it was good. If you want to walk and get food forget it. Catch the bus and you can get food that way at the food court at the gas station. "

"Cancelled my booking without notice to tell me it’s sold out. When I asked for the manager I was told there is a room for more than what I originally booked. Washroom was filthy hair in the tub and dirt around the tub. Had no choice as I was only staying a few hours for a connection and had my toddler with me. Shuttle service was the only great thing. "

"Room was clean enough. Towels were old. All bathroom fixtures were loose. TV still had protective plastic film. Dresser drawers open on their own. Lobby water bottle machine stocked for 3 days. On the plus side, beds were comfortable, but need newer pillows."

While the staff were very pleasant, I had a billing issue as they couldn't see that I paid for my room via Orbitz and I was accidentally charged again for my stay.
