"Lovely hotel and Lovely staff great food the breakfast was delicious, great value the only criticism would be the lack of fresh air in the hotel perhaps opening a couple of doors or windows would help but that might just be me . Had a lovely sleep and enjoyable stay ."

"Very much a party/wedding venue. A very large hotel and hard to park anywhere near the entrance. Room was good and although wedding going on it was quiet in the room."

"The room we had was dated and need refurbishing. Tired carpet, curtains etc. The bed was uncomfortable with a dip in the middle. Unfortunately on the final night I hardly slept due to scratching, biting sounds coming from the roof space above the bed, which I can only put down to rats or large vermin. The restaurant was ok for breakfast, continental or cooked. The staff were lovely. Parking was easy as well."

"Curtains needed a clean, some dubious marks on them. Bathroom in room 1 is accessible but the shower pan isn't deep enough and floor was swimming. A few little bits of decor need looking at and the door to bathroom don't stay closed unless you lock it The fan in the room was very noisy and also wobbly"

"Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend."

"Have stayed at the Chase a number of times over the years and this is by far the worst stay, we booked 5 rooms for a 2 night stay , on the Saturday night there was some sort of party going on in the hotel till the early hours of the morning , there was no one at reception to help and the out of hours number wasn’t answered we came down for breakfast on the Monday morning only to be told Breakfast had finished at 09:00 ( we were told 10:00) and that the kitchen was now closed due to repairs to...

"The hotel was fine. However, the prices of the drinks were pretty dreadful. At the main entrance there is a help yourself shop for crisps, drinks ect.. these prices were an ABSOLUTE JOKE. £4 for a Kit Kat, £28 for a bottle of wine , in Tesco £9.00. A can of coke £4. A big bag of crisps £6.50."
