"Lovely hotel, amazing views, manicured gardens, excellent staff, (Carmen, Martina, Connie, Gaetano, Valentina, Laura, Roberta to mention but a few) good spa. However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms. "Our party of 8 people stayed in 4 of these rooms. It was the perfect area, right on the main street, walking distance to everything! Clean place, comfy bed, helpful staff, great for the price. I would not recommend staying in the blue room, it is directly above a bar, and very loud until 3am every morning. We went in late April, two of the rooms still had the heat on, and the other two had AC. It was pretty warm while we were there, so the Staff had to have someone come put all the rooms on AC....

"Located right on the Main square, Piazza Tasso, the hotel is convenient to all points of Sorrento. The pictures of the rooms on line are a true depiction of where you are staying. Although there are floor to ceiling windows, they are well insulated so when they are closed there is no noise heard from the square. Simone and her staff are pleasant and accommodating.
