"Fantastic hotel. Very clean. Helpful staff."

"Had a great stay, convenient to Scarborough spa, very hilly area around though. Room nice and clean but sink taps didn't work properly, no cold water, a half bottle of water left in fridge. The carpets in the corridors to the room abit tired could do with a really good clean or changing. The spa was lovely, the staff all friendly, had a lovely stay and would stay again, rooms very hot."

"Misleading information from staff ruined what should have been a simple experience. We were told at reception that our voucher could be used for afternoon tea, then showed it again in the lounge before ordering and were seated without issue. Only at payment were we told it didn’t apply and charged full price, which feels completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were no towels in the room when we needed them, and the room was unbearably hot with no proper way to cool it. Overall, poor communication and basic standards not being met — wouldn’t stay again."

"The pictures on hotels did not reflect the room . Apparantly the pictures of the standard room on hotels were of a suite . Although the staff tried their wasn’t availability . The hotel is tired and dated ."

"Excellent location with welcoming staff. Staff members gave great recommendations of places to visit, and they always had a warm attitude."

"We stayed in 2 separate rooms and both were very well presented and the decor was lovely. Very spacious rooms. The only thing I will say, on booking, the listing made it seem that the pool and hot tub was on site but it's at their sister hotel around the corner. It was still great to have access to but it could be clearer. Check in was easy peasy, as only codes required. Totally keyless. The sea is literally across the road, which is accessible via a lift. The main sea front with all the amusements are a short drive away. Parking outside the apartments, which require a disc (provided). We will defo be booking again for our next visit."

"Stayed in an apartment with my husband and 2 kids. The place was spotless and very spacious and comfortable. The view of the sea was perfect and we also had breakfast. The breakfast was of a very standard."

"We stayed last Saturday for a long overdue break away. The staff (all of them) go above and beyond for everything.. whether a couple of extra tea bags or general queries at reception. Our room was immaculate and looking out over the sea and so very peaceful. We left feeling rested and although we had never stayed over night in Scarborough, both my husband and I said we would book another break very soon simply based on bring a wonderful experience. "
