"This was a lovely place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated as was the en-suite which was modern and stylish. There was no road noise and black out curtains ensured the room was dark. The proprietor was friendly as well as incredibly helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many options available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Excellent position in centre of town with free parking. Good size room and friendly staff. Sunday Roast meal was very good despite us arriving near end of serving time. Breakfast adequate and enjoyed. Only problem was the lumpy pillows which were uncomfortable and so didn’t sleep very well."

"Very nice hotel in an historic building. Comfy bed, room was well stocked with everything you would need. Located 2 mins from the town centre with a good selection of restaurants. The breakfast was very good, excellent vegan options too. The staff were very friendly, particularly the lady who served us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very welcoming. Great value for money and would highly recommend."

"Staff helpful, room well used and a couple of lights out in the bathroom, but blackout curtains worked and the bed was reasonably comfortable, so a good night’s sleep was had for fifty quid."

"The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again "

Being honest the receptionist was a sweetheart and did the best that they could, but the hotel was a different story entirely. "Room was eh, very noisy and zero air flow. Smelled very moldy and my nose is stuffed up after in night. Decided to eat local at the restaurant and was a disaster. €60 for two people and was the worst risotto, basically eating straight pepper seasoning, my GF had a burger and was so spicy she was sweating. Then had to wait nearly an hour to get a desert, that tasted very off, like expired tasting. To top it off, not really a reception, so you have to go to the bar, and wait like you are...

"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "
