"I didn't use parking because I came by train. Breakfast is ok but room cleaning bad. It's proper cleans room, chocolate rappers and peanuts mess already on floor when I entered in room first day after check in. I complained to reception but lady was standing this time, she said sorry and nothing else. She had to change my room or can refund 20% discount but she didn't."

"All staff were welcoming and very friendly. Comfy bed. The room smell was too much with laundry or cleaning products that are heavy with synthetic fragrances and gave me a headache in the first hour. Less is more, not everyone can tolerate it. "

"Second time staying here. Everything was great. Decor is lovely giving great atmosphere. Breakfast is extensive even with the less expensive continental option. Staff are well trained and helpful. Easy walk through the park to Didsbury village and the tram station. Room isn’t air conditioned but fan provided was sufficient."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The building has been recently and interestingly renovated. Our breakfast of freshly cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon was excellent."

"Won't be recommending this property. Told check-in was 3pm when my email said 2.30pm. The room smelt and stains all over. Booked a twin room and was given a double. Went to complain but a queue of people complaining already there. Just the one person serving with the manager not working the weekends. Not surprised with all the complaints!I was told they would split the bed up when out but surprise surprise this hadnt happened either. So dissapointed and for the price we paid. A rip off! ...

"Don’t usually leave reviews but this felt warranted. Original room was ice cold and I had to argue with the staff on reception that the radiator wasn’t working, who kept trying to tell me it was. Upon checkout we asked for a taxi and an unmarked taxi was called that only took cash. It was not suitable for tourists, as we don’t have cash and this was for my mother in law who was from out of the country. I would avoid this hotel."

"The customer service at the front desk was amazing and available 24/7. The breakfast had various options as well."

"I was greeted very well and politely by staff. Staff at front desk even helped with information of our endeavours in Peak District. Parking space was abundant. Room was very clean. Place was quiet."
