Khách sạn St. Weonards

"The property is lovely clean and well kept. The description is accurate. However there were no instructions given on how to gain access to the property, I emailed the day before to ask but received no reply at all. On arrival we phoned the 2 numbers given on numerous occasions again no answer, we left messages but no answer. After 30 minutes of wandering around looking for a key we found it under a stone. On entry it was apparent that the property was not prepared, the bedding etc was still...

"The accommodation is part of a working horse farm. We had an elevated view, with a big horizon. East facing, we witnessed magical sun rises and also a good view of the moon. The interior was beautifully clean. Everything we needed was all provided in a compact well thought out space. It felt like the hosts had really thought about guest comfort - it was all just lovely."

"Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks!"

"We had a large room with a wonderful view of the winding river and beyond. Staff excellent; friendly and extremely helpful. Food was good altough the dining room was a bilt lacking in character. Very good location."

"Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return."

"Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...

"Great welcome easy check in and friendly team 😁. We arrived late after a long drive - the venue is an old pub with rooms. We navigated our way to the top floor room. As we arrived Halloween weekend we thought the dust and cobwebs in the room were part of the theme. 👻 The carpet around the bed and doors hadn’t been hoovered for months. A layer of dust was on all the light fittings and cobwebs everywhere - bed and pillows weren’t great and we could hear the noise from the high street, boy...

"Friendly owners and staff plus an excellent breakfast breakfast!"

"I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful."

"On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free. On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left...

"It was a lovely place to stay. Staff, rooms and food so nice would love to stay there again"

"It is a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent for Hereford just 7 minutes away. We used it as a base and visited Hereford Cathedral and the Old House Museum in Hereford, Croft Castle, Leominster, Ledbury (not to be missed) Ross on Wye and Goodrich Castle. All less than 45 mins. away. Also some of the Black and White villages north of the City. Would definitely recommend this hotel and also a trip to...

"Room was clean, but no television in room"

"The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her...

"Highly recommended."

"Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again."

"Beautiful house gardens and surrounding.the rooms are sympathetically restored with stylish interiors.comfy bed and good shower and great breakfast"
