"The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower.
The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits.
If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around.

"Small hotel in a residential area close to the beach. Very modern, clean and spacious bar and outside seating area. The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. "We were allocated a disabled room. We booked a standard room 3 months prior, but this was all that was available. We felt uncomfortable because the room was set up for people with disabilities. It had a low bed, low sink, a seat attached in the shower, loads of safety hand holds and alarm cords everywhere in case of emergency. We felt like we were in a hospital and did not feel like we were in a nice hotel. It was very disappointing and we did not enjoy it. "

"Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too. "
"The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities.
