"First impressions are important. The exterior of this hotel is like a horror movie. Inside the theme continues. It's very dated. But if you like quirky seaside hotels then this place is for you. I think someone was smoking in their room because I could smell cigarette smoke. My room had a farty odour. I can't really complain for the price I paid. It was close to a nice Nepalese restaurant and also a convenient store. And is close to the seafront too but a fair way from the town and amusements. "

"We booked a large double bed but can definitely say it was just a normal sized double and was hard to sleep in! Also wouldn’t stay here if you’re looking for a quiet night as heard loud music pretty much all night so was in and out of sleep throughout. Was a good location to get to things but was glad to be home for a good nights sleep!"

"It is last minute no other choice expensive order; if the price was 1/3 would make perfect sense the location, the size room, the room facilities, the bad quality, the size of the bath, the variety of th foods do breakfast. If someone pays you - no issue but if you pay yourself stay far away."

"The hotel is best suited for one - or two if you don't mind having to step around each other. The rooms are quite small, the bed too big for the room. Rhe little deskette with chair, if used, collides with the bed. The bath has all the usual, but is by far, the smallest I've ever met. The good, though, is that the hotel is mere feet from Cardiff Central and is well located. The desk staff pleasant and helpful, and the bed is comfortable. It works if you arent going to spend any...

"Quite poor. The most uncomfortable bed I slept in, had a loose cable on the outside bang on the window all night, plumbing was making really loud noises that kept waking me up. In terms of cleanliness, mould in the bathroom, could see someone else shaved there as there was lots of cut hair on the floor. Overall, if it wasn't for the staff being very polite, it would've been a 1 star"
