"Check in was from 3pm, we got there at about 3:45 and our room wasn’t ready. It was a hot day we were tired and thirsty. The young man pointed to the cold drinks cabinet and said, ‘why not have a drink while you wait.’ We grabbed a bottle of water each and were astonished that we had to pay as we had falsely assumed they were ‘on the house’ as recompense for our room not being ready. The room wasn’t OK, it was a good location however I’m not sure I’d use this company again as I was so annoyed the room wasn’t ready - we could have been phones/sent a text/emailed."
