"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."

"Since I requested an accessible room I was expecting the accessable bar to be on the left side of wall in the shower but the bar was behind instead of right of the shower which can be very dangerous for someone who is epileptic and showers sliding doors a glass. I would suggest installing additional bars in your accessible showers."

"For what it was, a name brand hotel in a cheaper part of NYC, it was ok. Totally sucks that it has a parking lot and guests still had to pay 40 a day for parking. So if you’re planning a stay add 40 bucks to your stay per day. Breakfast was nice and free, not much seating though. Rooms were outdated, small, dark and our TV kept breaking. If you just need a place to rest your head at about 250 a night with parking… it’s not so bad. I would not pay full price and stay there. That’s for sure."

"This is a small hotel in good condition. Only issues were lack electric plugs (old hotel) and lack of exhaust fan in windowless bathroom. Places to eat were within a couple of blocks. Nearby subway allowed for quick access to JFK or Times Square. Thought hotel was pricey, but that can change with time of year."
