"The residences are next to the hotel. The area has been renovated nicely and the residences are also beautiful with high quality finishes.
A few negatives:
- no coat hanger
- light switches are not the most convenietly placed

"We loved the room! Husband is 5’11” and could hit his head if not careful by the door. I’m 5’4” and didn’t have to worry about it! The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed saving money on the room to be able to do more in the city. Perfect location for walking, grabbing public transport or cheap Ubers to see other parts of the city! Ton of excellent food options that stay open late within walking...
"A quirky and old school reminder of Budapest's past. It is right beside the national museum (which is another are of major renos, which start at 730) and near everywhere you want to be. The ceiling was 15' high with a chandelier, fridge, nice bathroom with killer water pressure for showers. Not a hotel, more like a pension and Y, lots of things are happening around you. Highly recommended. "

"The room and the bathroom are spacious! The air conditioning worked well. We liked the breakfast, there are many options (although we would rather have simple oatmeal instead of their prepared oatmeal, but it didn't affect our experience). The hotel is new, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and close to many attractions, however there is some loitering in one of the streets nearby (close to the park). We just avoided that street at night and we didn't have any problem....

"Hotel GIN is new and very well located for sightseeing Budapest. It’s is central yet quiet and you are always within 20 minutes of one site or another. Very good food spots too. The hotel is clean and well taken care off. I had issues with my first room and they changed it even upgraded me, no issues. I initially needed to cancel the booking due to unexpected ill health but they refused saying I had booked a non refundable room meanwhile all they offered on Expedia were the non refundable room....
