"The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good."

"Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. "Stayed here on a Thursday overnighter with my hubby, it doesn't look much from outside, but step inside and what a little gem! This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower.
