"A great wee find. Welcoming, cheery staff and a clean, tidy room. Food options were all good, and the fish was delicious and fresh. Happy to recommend and return"

"We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! "We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity. (The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.) The restaurant...

"Special place. Beach-view room is a must. Great breakfast."

"As one of the lowest prices within 50 miles of Edinburgh, the Elbow Room far surpassed my expectations. The room was a good size and had a balcony which would have been lovely on a sunny day. The food in the te"
