"Google maps took us right there but it was not so obvious. This is a neighborhood apartment building. The hotel occupies a couple of floors in the building. We had to call the hotel number so that a person could let us in. No issues coming and going after we received entry code. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Neighborhood is excellent to blend amongst locals, and anything that you need is a short block or 2. You have about a 15 to 20 minute easy walk, maximum, to all your favorite...

"We "happened" on this hotel because it was the location that marked the beginning of our trip! I would gladly stay here again. Although it appears to be an American style hotel, it was an amazing European stay. Although a different location in the city from our other Madrid hotel, it too was a great area and easily walkable for food/drinks/entertainment/shopping. Although the bathroom and the shower were both spacious, the shower door did not close properly which caused leaking into the bathroom floor. The shower floor was quite slippery. "Overall, I was very satisfied with my 4-night stay. The location is unbeatable—right by the Retiro Park, which is perfect if you want to go for a run. The staff were very nice and their English was good. The room itself was clean and well-designed, and the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was a slight musty odor in the bathroom, seemingly due to a lack of an exhaust fan. Still a great choice and highly recommended!"

"Nice hotel, well located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early in the morning, but the staff managed to find us a room available so we could rest earlier. Well appreciated. Very clean hotel. We found out during our last days that a little museum was at ground floor, and free to visit. Great add on! We strongly recommend a room with doors, that can be opened to feel the breeze and the vibe. Liked the fact that the room was spacious, with a separate section with a sofa and tv."
