The Northallerton Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"As the starring system says, the Northallerton Inn was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom were excellent, the bed comfortable, we were lucky to have a downstairs room so could have the window open which made the room more than comfortable as there was no AC, I am not sure about the upper floors as the windows can only be opened a little within H&S laws. The breakfast was more than ample, good choice of cereals, great tasting coffee, and teapots to brew your tea, Cooked breakfast was really good, and far too much should you opt for cereals first, there were other choices on the menu all cooked to order. As it was an Inn, there was of course a pub attached, a popular place for locals to drop in for lunch and early evening dinners, we met people so only had snacks there, my husband had the mussels, they were not good, staff went over and above to apologise. I would strongly recommend staying here if you are in Northallerton, we plan to use one of their other premises in the Lake District in the near future."

"The Wellington Heifer was a great choice for our overnight stop. The welcome was warm and relaxed, the room large, clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom. The meal on the evening was of a very high standard, but accordingly priced. You get what you pay for, after all. The breakfast in the morning was promptly served and, again, of a high standard. The check out was as simple as handing the key to the bar staff. Well done to all at the Wellington Heifer for making our stay very enjoyable. We will be back next time we need to stay in the area."

"Enclosed and secure garden for the dog was a real plus, the cottage was very private with lovely views and all amenities. Check with was smooth and the host is lovely. "
