The spa had everything you could need, and the outdoor jacuzzis were perfect—especially with drinks served right to you from the menu. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. "This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"I stay away weekly all over the country. The Ship was recommended and did not disappoint. It was the hottest day of the year, and although the car park was jammed, they allowed me to park in the staff car park. The room was spotless, had every amenity you could think off with a fan already on. The view was superb, with binoculars for looking out into the nature reserve. I ate in the restaurant on their patio and ordered a sirloin steak roll without expectations. It was superb! The steak was quality. The breakfast, plentiful and fresh. I’m booking my return for next week and it’s rare I do that because I’m picky having run hotels for many years. Says it all really."
