"Set on a motorway services type estate with plenty of parking, car charging and food drive throughs. Not picturesque, you cant walk out to a pub/village. Wouldnt have stayed if known about the setting. Very close to Stonehenge which is why most might stay here."

Pub itself was nice. Stuff behind the bar were very friendly. Landlord was grumpy and chose to see it with both their big air-condition fans facing himself."

A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. A little on the expensive side, but reasonable. Great parking."

"Usually when I’m not happy with a stay, I just put it down to experience and don’t bother to review it. Our stay at the Hawk was a long journey breaker, so we arrived latish, and left early. "Ok, so this is one of the cheapest hotels in or around Bath. It’s clean and the breakfast is fine for the price. I have seen some reviewers complain about the variety but seriously what do you expect at this price. Our room was ok but very very warm. Location is great and with a bit of investment could be upgraded a few levels but then again so would the price. Uber was approximately £10 to Bath City Centre. "Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon"

"Parking is brilliant. Lovely spacious room with comfy bed. The only draw back is as it was very warm, having the window open at night is not good. Very noisy boy racers and loud drunk people everywhere. Shower water drains very slowly. Apart from that, perfect location."
